1. COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and other similar mechanisms to learn how users use our Website and for marketing purposes, including to display advertisements to them elsewhere on the Internet.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file saved by a website on your computer, phone or other device on which you are browsing the website. A cookie file contains data about your use of that website.

Some cookies are essential for our Store to work and cannot be disabled.
In other cases, on your first visit to our Website, we ask you to consent to the installation of cookies. We do not use advertising or analytical cookies (or any others besides those that are essential) without your consent.

What cookies do we use?

  1. Essential cookies
    • These cookies are used for the correct operation of the website. You cannot disable them, because if they are disabled our website will simply not function properly.
    • In this respect we use a tool that stores your privacy settings. It records whether or not you have consented to running particular types of cookies on our website.
    • Other essential cookies on our Website are used for its correct functioning and management, including for making changes to the website and for launching tracking tools to which you have consented.
  2. Functional cookies
    • Some cookies on our website are used to run an additional tool on the Store's pages, such as a chat, a module for adding product reviews and/or star ratings, the option to recommend a product to a friend, the option to display the products you have recently viewed in our Store, etc.
    • You will find the list of the functional tools we use on the Website, together with an explanation of exactly what they are used for, in the cookie consent management panel.

Legal aspects concerning cookies

The legal basis for the Store's use of essential cookies (indicated above in the section "What cookies do we use?") is our legitimate interest, i.e. the right to run a Website that supports our business, and the need to maintain its security.
The legal basis for our use of the remaining cookies is your consent.

In connection with our processing of your personal data by means of cookies, you have at any time the rights we describe in the section Your rights in connection with the processing of data.

Our use of cookies, in particular for advertising purposes, may involve so-called profiling. This means that we or the marketing companies whose services we use may create a user profile based on the collected information (e.g. e-mail address, order history, type of device, technology used, frequency of visits) and, on this basis, formulate future purchase predictions. This allows us to decide what content (including advertisements) to display on our and other websites.

How long do cookies remain on the user's device?

This depends on whether they are "persistent" or "session" files. Session cookies, i.e. the information necessary for the browser's functionalities to work correctly, expire at the end of the user's session, i.e. each time you close our Website. Persistent cookies, which make using the website easier (e.g. they remember the selected resolution, content layout, user preferences, recently viewed products), are stored by the browser for longer and remain there until their expiry date, unless you delete them earlier yourself using the settings in your browser menu.

The cookies of third parties (i.e. analytical, advertising and those related to social media) are subject to their own privacy policies, to which we provide you links in this policy.

2. Other purposes of processing the personal data of Store users

Your data is not used by us to make decisions based solely on automated processing that could affect your legal situation or produce other similarly significant effects for you.

- LIST OF ANALYTICAL TOOLS USING COOKIES

  1. ANALYTICAL COOKIES:
    1. Cookies of our Store's software provider
      • The provider of the software that powers our Store - i.e. the owner of the shoper.pl platform - places cookies on our Website in order to collect aggregate information about how customers use online stores (subpages opened and time spent on them, products displayed, clicks on the Store's pages, analytical information about purchases, e.g. conversion rates).
      • This data is used to create aggregate reports for e-store owners, containing general (without personal data) information about, among other things, which products interest a given store's customers, in which period of the year increased traffic or sales occur in stores, etc. Thanks to this, sellers (including us) can improve their stores and optimise sales processes.
      • You can read full information on this topic in the Cookie Policy for visitors to Shoper stores.
